Ashleigh & Bryan

When we remember Ashleigh and Bryan’s wedding, we think of how much love there was that day. They were surrounded by an amazing group of friends and family. They were so happy to be with each other, and so happy to be with those that were there to share the day with them. It was a wedding as it should be.

Ashleigh looked stunning and was a happy and relaxed bride. Her ‘something old’ was her Grandmother’s beautiful brooch. She also used her own unique twist on tradition – her ‘something blue’ was her embroidered underwear! Ashleigh’s family were close-by and we loved seeing how genuinely excited they were to see her getting married. The ceremony was held at Albert Uniting Church which has a great significance for Ashleigh’s family. One of the stained-glass windows inside the church is dedicated to her Great-Grandfather. Although we thought it might storm it was perfect weather and Bryan looked a very happy man as his gorgeous bride walked down the aisle. Ashleigh and Bryan’s priority when planning their wedding was keeping things fun. With this in mind they organised a boat to take everyone from our photoshoot at Kangaroo Point to the reception at The Strand in the city. Cruising the Brisbane River was definitely a lot of fun! The reception was a great celebration. Ashleigh’s brother’s speech was hilarious – even Andrew can’t forget it! He had everyone in hysterics and the laughter and the love continued into the night.
