Mark & Megan {Wedding at Cedar Creek Estate}

Mark and Megan met through mutual friends and a shared love of the outdoors and being active.  Mark’s love of riding his bike saw him become involved in a multisport triathlon club.  Little did he know that his future wife Megan had joined the same group a few years earlier when she first moved to Brisbane.   Mark had always been shy but with some coaxing he finally asked Megan out on a date.  Come Christmas a couple of years later, Mark hid an engagement ring in a Christmas stocking before getting down on one knee and proposing.  A delighted Megan said “yes” and the couple gave their families an extra Christmas present!

When it came to choosing a wedding venue, Mount Tamborine was an obvious choice for the couple.  Mark’s parents lived there and he knew the area well.  Megan loved the idea of the Gold Coast hinterland as most of her family would be travelling up from Melbourne.  Mark and Megan choose the beautiful grounds of Cedar Creek Winery for the wedding and reception.

Mark felt like he was at someone else’s wedding until the moment came for Megan to walk down the aisle. The day went perfectly and lived up to everyone’s expectations and more.

Mark and Megan both say they had an amazing day and love that the photos have captured their happy moments forever!

Andrew also had a fantastic time at Megan and Mark’s wedding and loved capturing the day. He remembers particularly one funny moment as Megan and her father were preparing to walk down the aisle. Megan’s father is a bit of a camera enthusiast and on spying Andrew and his camera gear promptly dropped his daughter’s hand to come and talk shop! Megan was forced to interject with a question of ‘Dad, are you going to walk me down the aisle?!’.
