Liz + Daniel are such a beautiful couple and we loved photographing their glamorous wedding and reception. The couple celebrated their love and were joyously married surrounded by family and friends at St Stephen’s Cathedral in Brisbane.
The bridesmaids wore peach, the groomsmen looked dapper, but it was the bride and groom that truly stole the show. Liz was a stunning bride in a beaded strapless dress with a never-ending veil that floated behind her like a white cloud, and Daniel looked like the ultimate stylish gentleman. The two are obviously head over heels in love with happy tears, sweet kisses and lots of tender moments shared between the two throughout the day.
They originally met over a dinner with friends and from that moment, they knew something special was developing. Daniel proposed while they were holidaying overseas, asking a bystander to take a photo of them in front of the Rialto Bridge in Venice. Liz looked away for a moment and when she looked back, Daniel was down on one knee and asking for her hand in marriage. Liz adds, “There was a crowd around us, people taking photos, everyone on the bridge was applauding. It was like something out of a movie.”
The day was beautifully planned and executed and everything looked picture perfect – from the decorations to the three tier cake to the first dance. Andrew moved through the crowd, stopping to take photos of people laughing, Liz and Daniel kissing, the priest blessing the marriage and all the moments in between.
Liz has a daughter from a previous relationship and when Danny got down on his knee and made a vow to her daughter as part of the ceremony, there wasn’t a dry eye in the house. This just shows how incredibly committed these two people are and how intertwined their love is with their family.
After the excitement of the big day, Liz and Daniel chose Fiji as their honeymoon destination so they could just laze about on the beach and drink cocktails. And that’s exactly what they did.
