Natalie was a classic bride – inspired by Audrey Hepburn and vintage-styling she was vibrant and ever so sweet. Ben and Natalie are also a classic couple – they are so in love and happy and obviously meant for each other. Their gorgeous vintage-inspired Brisbane wedding was full of lovely details and happy friends and family, but above all it was full of love. Natalie dressed for the wedding at home with the help of her closest friends and family. A short walk across the road to the church and then a big one down the aisle. Both Natalie and Ben remember this as their standout moment from the day. When Natalie arrived at the alter Ben momentarily forgot where he was and leant in for a kiss – much to the amusement of the whole church! Not the usual start to a ceremony but we love that in a way it sums them up as a couple – funny and yet heartfelt. After a beautiful ceremony the party kicked on at dell’Ugo in Southbank. During speeches Natalie presented Ben with a gift – two small padlocks with their names engraved. The story goes that while on holiday in Italy they saw pairs of padlocks locked together everywhere and were told it’s a tradition that stemmed from a famous Italian movie to signify everlasting love. On their honeymoon, they threw away the keys.
