Marie and Kiri’s wedding was an exciting and romantic day. Marie looked stunning and almost doll-like in her gorgeous dress. Her parents were on hand to help her get ready and it was an emotional but very happy experience to see their little girl getting married. It was also very special for Marie to have all her grandparents there, particularly her two grandmothers who were involved in the traditional Cypriot traditions of blessing the bride. Andrew is friends with Marie’s parents and so it was a special wedding for us too. Kiri was relaxed and did everything right to make sure it was a happy day. Marie is a school teacher and her students gave her a touching surprise by forming a guard of honour before she walked down the aisle. Following the ceremony we took the bridal party to the University of Queensland, where the rainy weather lent itself to some artistic photos.
